✦ How To Reserve
Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. We open reservations each lambing season once we know who’s ready to join a new flock.
To reserve a lamb:
- Watch for availability.
When lambs are posted under Available Lambs, you’ll see their photos, names, price, and short notes for each one. - Reach out.
Use our contact form or email us directly to inquire about a specific lamb or to let us know you’d like to be placed on our interest list. - Wethered Rams (cannot breed – they make great family pets)
We require full payment prior to castrating our ram lambs. We like to schedule this procedure when they are between 5-8 weeks of age with our vet. This is handled at a small charge of $100 to cover the services with our veterinary clinic and must be included at the time of your full purchase. Please include in your purchase details the lamb you are buying and that this includes Wethering Services. - Send a deposit.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold your ewe lamb or in-tact ram lamb. This deposit goes toward the final purchase price. Deposits are accepted via Venmo, PayPal (Friends & Family), or by mailed check. Please include the name of the lamb(s) you are reserving in the memo. - Signed Contract
Once your deposit (or wethered purchase) has been received, we will contact you to let you know the lamb is officially reserved for you. We will email our purchase agreement to be signed and emailed back to us. - Wait with us
Lambs stay on the farm until they’re fully weaned and ready, typically ready between 8-10 weeks of age. We’ll send updates and photos along the way. - CDT and Deworming
Your lamb will receive all required CDT shots and any deworming before leaving our farm (included in the price of the lamb.) - Pickup or Transport
We will arrange a pickup date or help coordinate transport. We’re happy to recommend trusted haulers if needed and will be glad to arrange this for you at no additional charge. All transport fees are to be paid between you and the transporter. Any remaining balance of your lamb must be paid 1 week prior transport. - Bill of Sale
Your lamb(s) will leave our farm with a bill of sale, halter, birth certificate, all health records of deworming, CDT, and any other veterinary services, along with any available registration paperwork, our care guide, and sample bags of their current feed and our support and guidance with any questions! - DuraFerm Minerals & Protein Tubs (Optional Add-Ons)
We are dealers of VitaFerm and DuraFerm products. Our babydoll sheep are fed DuraFerm loose minerals and protein tubs year round. If you would like to add any 125lb sheep protein tubs or 50lb bags of loose minerals for your new lamb, please let us know in advance to ensure we can have it on hand for you when you pickup, or at the time of transport connections. We will send you an invoice for any add-ons to be paid so that your items are reserved for your lamb as we go through these quickly.
